In Minsk there are more than enough places for it. Some of them are very popular, others are less popular, but there is one goal when you look for a place to take pictures – getting beautiful photos. And you will find below some sites ideal to achieve this goal. To make the photo session more complete you should combine absolutely different places. For example, parks and city views, confined places and open areas, stiffness of industrial landscape and tenderness of blooming alleys.

1.The Trinity Suburb.

Classic ground for taking photos. You can find here many old little yards, paved paths, ragged walls and all these things that flash us back to the past. The Svisloch quay with the view of Nemiga will complete your photo session.

2.The Upper Town and  the City Hall.

Not so popular but not less picturesque place for taking photos, than the Troika. Here you can find lots of show-places. For example, hostelry with fountainlet, piazza of the City Hall, forged gate, archs and panoramic view of Nemiga and the Trinity Suburb.

3. The spring in Vesnianka.
Above all, this place is attractive because of its park with old moss-grown willows and the bridge across the stream. You can also take a gulp of water from this spring (but only pretend that you are drinking), because this water is very dangerous for the health. So it is a park, which goes together greatly with city sights.

4.Loshitski park.
It is a park which is more beautiful even than Vesnianka, and more universal because of its old buildings and ruins. Apart from enormous trees, the overgrown Svisloch shorefront, the country-house estate ruins and ragged walls, very often you can see here longstanding cars and horses, and you can also take pictures inside of country-house museum.

5. Minsk Botanical Garden and Glass-House.

It is a nice place to take pictures from early spring till late autumn: here you can see a large number of plants in blossom, many beautiful alleys and a pond with snow-white swans. The glass-house with the dome can be used as a separate place to take pictures in any season, but on Friday it works till 16-00.

6.Gorky park.
It is an all-purpose place where you can find a park and an idea of city. At the point of entry you can see an excellent piazza and staircases from the avenue, a little bit further there is a bridge across the Svisloch, enormous trees alleys, colorful amusement rides, observation wheel, planetarium, cotton candy and popcorn sellers.

7.Yanka Kupala park.
Right in the opposite – across the Svisloch – there is another park, a little bit similar to Gorky park, though without any amusement ride, but with the fountain and the boat station. It can be characterized as the romantic park.

8. The national library.

Modern architecture with the mountain of glass and concrete, the possibility to take pictures in the hall and on the viewing point of the 22-nd floor, near you can see fountains and parks, not far away there is Moskovski bus station. It is the common place for those who don’t like to go around the whole city.

9. Minsk sea. Yacht-club.
The shorefront with piers, sail-sing on the cutter, beautiful nature and romantic sunset. Imagine that you are lovers from the famous film, who are standing on the bow of the cutter and blown by the wind.
